2025 Sail Into Imagination Rules and Entry Form

Student artists grades K–12 are invited to participate by creating and submitting original artwork based on the contest theme “Sail into Imagination,” which inspires students to share their vision of traveling aboard SSA ferries to Cape and Islands ports and to encourage artistic interpretations of growing up by the sea. Contest is open through May 17, 2025.

ALL ENTRIES WILL BE ENTERED INTO A GRAND PRIZE DRAWING!

Winning entries will be featured in a 2026 Steamship Authority calendar and will be displayed on the SSA website and select ferries. Gift cards for Steamship Authority passenger travel will also be awarded to 13 student winners from any town on Cape Cod, plus residents of Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Fairhaven or New Bedford. Original entries must not be folded, and framed art must be able to be removed in order to be reproduced. Due to issues with reproduction, pastels will not be accepted.

ALL ARTWORK MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH A COMPLETED ENTRY FORM BY MAY 17, 2025 VIA ANY OF THE FOLLOWING METHODS:

• Mailing physical artwork and entry form to:

• Emailing a clear digital photo, scan, or digital file no larger than 3 MB and entry form to:
sailintoimagination@steamshipauthority.com.

• Dropping completed artwork and entry form off at the Woods Hole, Vineyard Haven, Hyannis, or Nantucket terminal
