SSA names new Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental manager

FALMOUTH (December 14, 2022) – The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority has appointed Bridget L. Sullivan as its new Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) manager, effective immediately.

Bridget Sullivan Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Safety and Environmental Protection, as well as a Master of Science in Emergency Management, from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. She joins the Authority after three years at Clean Harbors Environmental Services as an Environmental Compliance Manager. Her experience also includes 10 years with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, where she served as a shipboard environmental officer.

“Bridget brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to the Steamship Authority, and we are pleased to have her as a member of the team,” said General Manager Robert B. Davis. “Her background and skills will be an asset to our ongoing initiatives and to our future projects.”

“I am extremely excited to  join the Steamship Authority and continue to support the development and implementation of their new Safety Quality Management System, as well as their overall safety and environmental compliance work,” Sullivan said.

The HSQE manager position was added to the Authority’s management team in 2019.
