Current Reservation Period
The Steamship Authority Reservation Office is now accepting reservations for travel now through October 20, 2024 via online, postal mail or phone.
2024 Fall Reservation Opening: Beginning June 11, 2024
Reservations for travel from October 21, 2024 through January 3, 2025 may be made via the internet, the telephone or in person. Up to five transactions (one-way or round-trip) will be accepted per telephone call. Reservations can also be submitted via the mail.
2024 Winter and Spring Schedule Opening: October 15, 2024
Reservations for travel from January 4, 2025, through May TBD, 2025 may be made via the internet, the telephone or in person on October 15, 2024.
Up to five transactions (one-way or round-trip) will be accepted per telephone call. Reservations can also be submitted via postal mail.

Please note: When making a vehicle reservation, you must provide the year, make, model, and license plate number of the vehicle you will be transporting. All vehicle reservations are non-transferable.
Payments
To book passage for your vehicle, payment must be made at the time of your reservation. Online reservations must be paid for at the time of booking. For telephone or in-person reservations, payment must be made within 5 days of booking. If made less than 5 days before your travel date, payment is due the day before you travel. We accept cash, check, Steamship Authority gift card, American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit cards for advance reservations. Service fees are assessed for returned checks.
