Steamship Authority to collect toy donations at Nantucket Christmas Stroll departures

Posted: December 1, 2025

HYANNIS (December 1, 2025) – The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority will accept donations of new, unwrapped toys at its morning ferry departures at its Hyannis Terminal on Friday December 5, 2025, and Saturday, December 6, 2025, from customers headed to Nantucket Christmas Stroll.

Toys collected will be split evenly between the Cape Cod Stuff-a-Bus event, which benefits Toys for Tots, and the Inky Santa Toy Drive. Customers are asked not to donate electronics or weapons, but gift cards will be accepted.

This event is an extension  of the Authority’s annual employee toy collection efforts. In addition to the organizations noted above, the employee toy drive will benefit The Red Stocking Fund on Martha’s Vineyard and the United Way of Greater New Bedford.

In 2024, the Authority’s employees donated 108 items to the Cape Cod Stuff-a-Bus event.

Questions about the toy donation efforts should be directed to marketing@steamshipauthority.com.
